Ladies and Gentlemen

Hello,

My name is R. S. Mills. I am a child of God, and a contributing editor to All Good Things Come from God on Substack.

As a child, I enthusiastically pursued my dreams in music, becoming more enamored with the world, the allure of money, women, and fame with each passing year.

Although I have never shared this publicly, one of my last conversations with my best friend was about a memorable dream he had of Christ hanging on the cross. It served as a sign for me to urge him to slow down.

But, he never gave careful attention to his ways, and soon after, his life came to a screeching halt in a deadly car accident.

Afterward, I flirted with the apex question of God and began to make strides in his direction. But it wasn't until one fateful night when I felt the terrifying presence of God and this overwhelming feeling that I was not permitted to turn back in any other direction. I felt chosen (1 Peter 2:9).

I gave my life to Christ at nineteen and have been a disciple ever since.

I share contemplation about God, business, art, and other things that inspire or tug on my insatiable curiosity about life and what it means to be human.
